Reserving and buying a painting

Instruction manual for Abyss gallery web page usage (User’s guide)

1. In this web gallery you can take a look at the available as well as sold paintings.

2. If the painting is sold, we are here to make our best to make a similar painting adjusted to your wishes.

3. Send an e-mail and, we will get in touch within 24 hours and discuss the details with you personally.

Please bear in mind that each and every painting is done by the artist personally, with solely natural materials, so there will be no two paintings alike.

Price

The price of a painting includes:

- wooden stretcher/structure (for painting on canvas);

- frame (for paintings presented on the web site already framed);

- packing;

- VAT

The most suitable method of packing for any painting is included in the painting price listed. The recommended method is based on our expertise for safe and fast artwork delivery. Your personal preferences for the delivery are the subject for individual discussion. If you are interested in more than one painting, the overall price may be change and may be subject to further negotiation.

This takes a little more time, since we cannot make the shipment until the money has arrived onto our bank account. On average the transfer takes 3-7 working days. After confirming your purchase you will receive a pre-invoice in PDF form, with all the details for internet banking transaction. It is important that you do not pay before you receive the pre-invoice. The payment is to be done in EUR. We inform you as soon as your payment is received and we ship your painting immediately after that. Please retain a copy of the transaction at an easily accessible place. Your confirmation may be necessary in case the company authorizing the payment would like to contact you for receiving a confirmation of the transaction authenticity. It also may be necessary for all cases of refund, order cancellation etc.

Packing

All paintings will be packed thoroughly before being sent to you. It is not possible to roll an encaustic painting. Because of this the painting together with the frame, or paintings on wooden boards are usually protected with bubble wrap, cardboard or chipboard. We do everything to make sure that the painting is protected safely enough for transport.

Shipping

When purchasing a painting from our gallery, you are always given a choice of shipping services to be entrusted with the task of delivering your painting.

Self-pick up

If you are visiting Bratislava in Slovakia, or Prague in Czech Republic, you can always pick your painting yourself. By the time of your arrival, the painting will be packed. This is the safest way to get your painting. This way you can be sure that nothing happens to your painting. The bonus is, that you meet the artist personally: you can visit her studio and have a nice chat over a cup of tea.

Parcel delivery companies: Federal Express (FedEx), DHL or UPS

Using the services of these parcel delivery companies is a fast and reliable way to get your shipment. We always recommend to insure every shipment. The average time of delivery is around 2-5 days. All services give you an opportunity to track your shipment via the Internet.

Privacy

The information that we collect during a purchase is necessary for us to fulfill your order and provide the best customer service possible. We will not sell or provide your private information to any outside company for its use in marketing or solicitation. We may disclose your information in certain cases where we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe it is required by law.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

According to the law § 12 No. 108/2000 Z.z., The Law of Consumer Protection, you as a consumer have the right to withdraw from the contract within 7 days after taking over the commodity. By withdrawing from the contract, the contract is cancelled from the beginning. You can also receive a full refund under these circumstances:

- Painting is received damaged.

- Painting is not received due to an error on Laura Écsiová – L.E.TREND ´s part.

Claims are accepted within the period of 30 days from the date of a purchase. A date considered as the date of the purchase is:

- date of receipt of money on Laura Écsiová – L.E.TREND bank account.

Settlement of claim will be arranged within 30 days after you proved the damage, by sending us images of damaged parts or the painting itself. You may cancel an order till either you or we initiated the payment process. When the payment process is initiated the purchase is considered as made. All cases that are not described above may be discussed individually for finding the most appropriate solution for both you and us.

Security Policy

We guarantee the highest level of security for your confidential information while you shop. When placing orders, all of your personal information including name and contact information cannot be read by anybody else as we personally receive it.
